How It Unfolds
What happens
inside a session
Ninety minutes, one focus: your body learning what it already knows how to do. Here’s the arc from beginning to end.
We begin by talking — what brings you here, what your body has been carrying, any relevant history. You don’t need to share more than you’re comfortable with. This is about understanding what your nervous system needs today, not about telling a full story.
A series of simple movements that gently tire the leg muscles and prepare the body for the tremor response. I guide you through each one with clear verbal cues. Nothing intense, nothing painful. You stay on a mat on your floor; I stay present on screen.
You lie down and allow the shaking or vibrating to begin — usually in the legs, sometimes spreading upward. I stay with you throughout, helping you stay comfortable and grounded. This is the part most people find both surprising and deeply releasing. You are always in control.
We close with grounding and integration — time for your body to settle. Then I walk you through a personalised home practice: what to do in the days ahead, how often, what to notice. You leave with something concrete to continue with, not just a memory of a session.

I guide people back to the intelligence of their own body — not by fixing what’s broken, but by helping the body remember it was never broken to begin with.
I came to TRE after years of searching — through yoga, spiritual practice, and living in different countries and different versions of myself. I had clarity in my mind long before my body caught up. That gap — between what we understand and what we actually carry — is where I do my most honest work.
I’m a certified TRE® provider and yoga teacher with a strong background in trauma-informed practice. When I work with someone one-on-one, everything is adapted to what their nervous system needs that day. There’s no script. There’s only presence, and your body’s own intelligence doing what it was always built to do.

TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a body-based practice that uses a series of simple movements to activate the body’s natural tremor mechanism — an instinctive shaking or vibrating response that discharges built-up stress and tension. Developed by Dr. David Berceli, it works through your physiology rather than through talking or cognitive processing. The tremors do the work; I help you stay safe and comfortable while they do.

Yes, completely. In fact, a private session is the ideal way to start precisely because you have my full attention throughout. Everything is explained as we go. I work at the pace your nervous system sets — which in a first session is always deliberately slow and gentle. Most people are surprised by how straightforward it feels, and how calm they are by the end.

Comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move freely in. A quiet private space with enough room to lie down. A yoga mat or soft surface, a pillow or blanket, and water nearby. Set up your device so I can see your whole body when you’re lying down. Avoid a heavy meal in the 1–2 hours before we begin. That’s genuinely all.

Most people feel something during the session itself — a physical release, a quieting, a softening they weren’t expecting. In the 24–48 hours that follow, the effects often continue to develop: deeper sleep, reduced muscle tension, a lighter mood. Everyone’s body responds in its own way and at its own pace. Some things are immediate; others reveal themselves more slowly.

TRE® is generally safe for most people when learned with a Certified Provider. It is always self-regulated — you stay in control and can slow or stop at any time. I’d recommend speaking with your doctor before starting if you have a history of severe psychiatric conditions, recent surgery or injury, certain cardiovascular conditions, or are in early pregnancy. We’ll always discuss your situation before the session begins.

No. This is one of TRE®’s most valued qualities and one of the main reasons people come to it. The method works through the body’s own physiology — it doesn’t need a narrative. You can share whatever context feels useful, and nothing more. The tremors don’t care about the story. They care about what your body is ready to release.
